About Us
The Downtown Community Association (DCA) was incorporated in 2023, under the Non-Profit Corporations Act of Saskatchewan.
With boundaries reaching Saskatchewan Drive, College Avenue, Broad Street, and Albert Street, we’re often referred to as City or Centre Square. This makes us a very new Community Association in one of the oldest neighborhoods.
Our Mission is to create a welcoming downtown where neighbours are engaged, meaningful connections are made, residents’ well-being is improved, and the community’s voice is heard.
DCA works with our partner organization; Regina Downtown Business Improvement District (RDBID). We look to work with RDBID to provide efficiencies with respect to common programs/projects (for example the Community Clean-up). We are also looking to partner with the Street Culture Project (the Treehouse), The Nest, and Bike Regina.
Membership in the DCA is open to all individuals and families residing within the boundaries of the DCA. In this context, family refers to all closely related individuals living at the same address. Subject to such items and conditions as set forth in the bylaws, any eligible applicant may become a member of the DCA following registration as the Board may determine.
Our operating budget is provided entirely by the City of Regina Phased Funding, for which we are very grateful.

The Regina Downtown Community Associated is situated on Treaty 4 territory, the ancestral and traditional territory of the nêhiyawak, Anihšināpēk, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda, and the homeland of the Métis/Michif Nation. We respect and honour the Treaties that were made on all territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we are committed to moving forward in partnership with Indigenous Nations in the spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
